"This sentence-building game uses unique five-sided cards with multiple conjugations of a base word. With a hand of 10 cards, players try to score the most points per round by constructing the longest, grammatically correct, and sensible sentence. Each card used in a sentence is worth 5 points, but using some of the more difficult conjugations on the card can earn you bonus points. Any player can object to another players sentence, on either grammatical grounds, or the fact that the sentence just doesnt make sense. The defending player and the objecting player get to argue their points to the rest of the players, who form a jury. The jury gets to vote on whether or not the sentence is acceptable. Half the fun is trying to defend, explain, and justify a completely ridiculous sentence to the other players. Accepted sentences score points, rejected sentences get you zip. First player to reach 200 points wins."

Creative..Fun..Great for the whole family:
I was looking for something that would be fun for the entire family. You've Been Sentences was one of the best purchases I have made on a game. My family has had hours of entertainment with this game. All ages can play and you will be laughing hysterically over all the creative ways you can put a sentence together. I read an article that this game was used in a school to teach kids, so if you have a child who is not doing well in English this is a great learning tool. They will love it! Five stars to the... more info
Awesome:
This game is a blast. The whole family loves it. I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a good time.
Fun family gameI:
I purchased this as a family gift for Christmas and it was a hit!! 2 daughters, 12 and 15, and my husband and I enjoyed some family time together creating goofy sentences. The length of the game is just long enough to hold everyone's attention and then the kids move on to their other teenager activities.
Great Game:
I bought this as a gift for my teenage niece & nephew who love to play board games. In fact, the entire family does, especially when they come for overnight stays at my home. This game is imaginative and fun. Not only are you thinking thru a sentence structure but must use that in a paragraph when challenged. Makes one think more than just rolling dice and moving an object thru a maze of squares. This is a good game for any age and provides hours of fun. You've Been Sentenced!
