doesn't work for my 2 macs:
I tried & tried to get this to work with my Mac mini and G5, but no luck. Even sent the unit back to the manufacturer. The monitor switch works, but not the keyboard / mouse. Just got the IOGear GCS22U 2-Port USB KVM Switch and it works fine.

I purchased this in a retail store for ten dollars more than Amazon is selling it for, and I still think it was worth it. (Though I'm kicking myself for not getting it here, lol.) I'm using this switch to connect a 19" LCD monitor and the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000 to my Mac mini and Gateway PC. (I thought I saw a review that said it didn't work with wireless keyboards, so I want to emphasize that -- for me -- it has been working splendidly.) worked ok . and then stopped working:
I bought his to use at work where I was going to share 2 laptops with a monitor. (At home I have a great KVM from connectpro. ) The unit worked for a while (a month or so) then I noticed that I would have to reboot computers every now and then to get video signal or mouse or keyboard signal. Then I had to do it almost every time I wanted to switch computers. What a hassle. Don;t bother with this one if you are using laptops.
