We know it's not fair to play favorites but we have to be honest - Rat-a-Tat Cat is the most loved card game at Gamewright HQ. Ever since its debut in 1996, we have been amazed how it has continually won over new players of all ages. So it was with great trepidation that we ventured to improve upon an already "purrfect" thing. Hopefully, you will agree that the enhancements -- brand-new art, more power cards, and the addition of a "Super Peek" power -- make the game even more fun. As always, try to keep a straight face when drawing cards, and most importantly, stay away from the Rat King! Reinforces math and memory skills. Contents: 65 cards, "cat vision" decoder and rules of play. For 2 - 6 players. Multiple award winner.

Great game!:
Our family has enjoyed this game. The extra see through viewing glasses that come in this tin make the game even more fun. We found some of the cards at other stores, but they did not include the veiwing glasses and scrambled cards. Great fun!
great for different age children.:
One of the things I like the most about this card game is that my 15, 13 and 7 year old can all play together and the youngest one can beat the older children.
Each player is dealt 4 cards face down, Cards have the numbers 0 to 9 on them. Along with cats on the lower numbers and rats on the higher numbers. Object of the game is to exchange your cards without looking at all of them to obtain the lowest points in front of you. At the beginning of the game you can look at two of the cards, but from that... more info
Fun game:
Rat-A-Tat is a fun game. I think it will become more fun as my 5 year old gets older, though, as we are only into the basics of the game. It is an enjoyable game for adults to play with children as well, a nice alternative to other kids' card games.
Great Logic game:
My kids received this game for Christmas two years ago when they were 6 and 3. To this day it remains one of our favorite games. I love it because it requires all of us to test our memory and use logic to win. It's also quick to play -- most games take less than ten minutes. We all enjoy it, and the kids love trying to get rid of all the rats and trap everyone else with lots of points. If you're looking for a simple game that has educational components, then try this one. It's a winner!
