Terrible Customer Service:
Do they actually have customer service? I bought the humidifier two months ago, and now its switch is broken. I emailed the customer service one week ago, got no reply. Then I tried to called them today, no one picks up the phone and nobody replied to my message. This makes highly doubt they will honor their one-year warranty if I mail my humidifier to them.
We're on our second one in a month:
This is as cute as a button and when it works, it's great. Our first one simply stopped misting after about two weeks. Amazon was great about sending us another one. That one stopped working within three days. This time I missed the window for a return so we are out $40. Supposedly there is some sensor that might not be working, but two in a row is either bad luck or a bad product. We took extreme care to make sure we followed the instructions and still bombed out. Crane cool mist Elephant shaped humidifier when put together into operating mode, the feet and head are backwards. The feet point to the back and the head points to the front. It works well.
Piece of Junk:
I am so frustrated with companies, such as Crane, selling unreliable products. This humidifier, during the brief time it worked, looked nice in our child's room and created a fine, cool mist. Then, after approximately a half dozen uses, the mist simply stopped. I could hear the fan, but the element was not creating any mist.
