HDCP -- High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) is a form of copy protection technology designed to prevent transmission of non-encrypted high-definition content as it travels across DVI or HDMI digital connections.
Response Time -- The amount of time it takes for a liquid crystal cell to from active (black) to inactive (white) and back against to active (black). It's measured in milliseconds (ms), and the lower the number the faster the response time--translating to a smoother picture with fewer pixilated or ghosted artifacts.

This monitor was purchased as an upgrade for my 17" CRT and I'm totally happy with my decision. For the price it has good features and I was able to fix it to my fairly old system with minimum hassle. However I was not able to get the optimum resolution of 1680x1050 on DVI with my Matrox G550 VGA with 32 MB but it works fine on VGA at the same resolution. It came without any dead pixels has excellent colour balance, I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in a 22" at a budget price.

Great value for money:
No dead pixels so far. But one kind of notices that is not a high-quality monitor. when I extended my Sony Vaio into this Monitor, you could clearly see the difference in resolution, brightness, etc. But still, it's very nice, very cheap and very useful. Last problem: you can't turn it, the base is fixed.
Big, bright, clear, cheap:
This is a nice, cheap monitor that competes in picture quality with much more expensive ones. It was a nice touch to include both DVI and VGA cables so that it's easy to use the monitor with any computer. I haven't used the monitor with any first-person shooter games, but it's plenty fast enough for watching video, even sports, so I imagine it would do fine. Only downside is the fixed base, so you'd better put it high enough to comfortably look at.
Warranty Program is Flawed:
I initially liked this monitor very much. Easy set up and an exceptional value. The problem is that the monitor failed and to have it repaired under warranty you need to ship it back to them at your request. In my case, including packing meant those charges would be over $60. So what was a great bargain suddenly had 25% added to it sales price and was no longer such a bargain. Caveat Emptor
