I purchased this thing in February 08, and it worked until one day in mid December then it went dead; it was working one day and the next day nothing. Went through a series of checks and satisfied myself there was a problem with the device.

I got this product for my Desktop computer. A family friend recommended this. It works great,I do not have any problems to connect to the wireless network. I recommend this product.

Never Buying Linksys Again:

I purchased this product 10 months ago. It came with EXTREMELY poorly designed software and wouldnt work with secured networks for some reason, but it at least worked for 10 months in our unsecured home network where we use it 99.9% of the time. Then it all of a sudden it was receiving at only 2-5 Mbps, down from 54 Mbps. Good Customer Service, Bad Product:

We'd had this about 3 months when it went on the blink, which stinks, BUT the customer service was great. I called up their customer support; got through to a real (friendly) person relatively quickly; spent about 15 minutes troubleshooting online; they declared it defective; I mailed in my old unit (at my cost); they shipped me a new unit at their cost.
