Works on Floors, Walls...anything:
I used this recently when taking out the existing subfloor to prepare for tile. It latched onto the nails and made removal a bit easier and safer as we cut away and pried up the floor.
I have also tested it on walls, and it does a great job.

I have used every kind of stud finder, even the fancy electronic ones. This one takes the cake - it hangs right on the wall where the nails/studs are located. if you need a stud finder do yourself a favor and look no further.. this thing is the best.
