poor quality:
i'm not sure if the CD player part held up since I rarely used it but the speakers lost their volume after a year. I'm at about 20% volume and I'm not sure if the rubber band slipped from the dial control inside or if it's broken. I may give it a go and open it up to adjust it.. Looks nice but will confirm that it's crap.
CD stopped working after 11 months:
Bought this for our baby's room so we could pay CD's when he goes to sleep. The CD play stopped working after 11 months. I made sure it was not the CD itself and it wasn't. Also put a few different CD's in and the unit just spins and starts to play for about 5 seconds than the CD just stops.
I would not recommend this since it cost so much. If you really want a CD, go to BigLots and buy something from there 1/2 the price.
bought two 4 months ago and neither work:
I bought two of these for my 6 and 4 year old and within 4 months neither will play a CD. They each would listen to a CD once through each night before bed so it's not that they are worn out. Wouldn't buy again.
CD player broke after 4 months:
My husband and I bought this for our infant's room to play soothing CDs when she was upset. We used it everyday for about 2 months and then only used it about once every other week. We tried to turn it on tonight when our daughter was fussy and the CD player won't read any CD. The radio has a weak reception, so now it is just an expensive, bulky clock. And since it is past 30 days we can't return it. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT.
