the nylon slotted turner is great.
I use everyday & it still looks like new.
There is no melting & cracking on the edges.
It is what I expected from calphalon.
It does melt:
This does melt from the heat when using it. I like it but it will not hold up with use. The part where it touches the heat looks like it is curling up but I suspect it is just melting away. Very nice looking but not as heat resistant as they claim.
Tools For Chef:
I would have like to known the length of the spatula before purchase. I think it works well with any cooking. It is a great utensil for anybody new to cooking.
Decent but lacking:
We received a variety of these Calphalon nylon utensils (including this slotted turner) as a gift almost a year ago. They are defintiely heat resistant, but they have not proven to be very durable in other regards. I am already looking to replace them and won't be buying this "model" again for a couple of reasons: First, the edges have "flaked".
