From the UK-based company's The Ball line, the upright vacuum tends to most floor and surface needs with a bevy of features and tools. Additionally, the vacuum demonstrates superior mobility, actually rolling on a ball for 360-degrees of twists and turns. The vacuum's 10-amp motor is mounted within the ball for a low center of gravity while the cleaner head pivots to manuever furniture legs and corners.
Dyson crafted the vacuum in durable ABS and polycarbonate materials. The direct-drive brush bar uproots embedded debris from carpeting but benefits from push-button shutdown to prevent damage to delicate rugs or hardwood floors. The vacuum's Root-8 Cyclone technology powerfully sucks dirt through the spacious channel for deposit in the see-through .71-gallon dustbin. To empty a full bin, the user need only push a button and hold the bin over a trash receptacle, eliminating minimal physical contact. A permanent, washable HEPA air filter ensures that collected allergens stay contained inside the vacuum. As a result of filtering, the released air contains 150 times less bacteria and mold. A built-in telescopic hose system allows the user to reach stairs and curtains. The provided airflow nozzle assists in retrieving dust from crevices, while a hard floor tool sweeps up dirt with gentle, long bristles. For stubborn pet hair, a mini-turbine head attachment powerfully sucks hair from upholstered furniture, rugs, and other pet-frequented areas. The vacuum's power cord spans 37 feet, with a 51-foot maximum vacuum reach. The Full Kit model comes equipped with an extra lifetime HEPA filter. A 90-day manufacturer's warranty covers this item. Made in Malaysia, the vacuum measures 13-2/3 by 11-2/5 by 44-1/10 inches and weighs approximately 20 pounds.

This vacuum is awesome. I used a regular vacuum for years, not realizing what was being left in my carpet. I have vacuumed my den three times since getting my Dyson, and it is unbelieveable what I got out of a carpet that had been vacuumed regularly. I'm in awe at what this vacuum does. It was reburbished according to the price, but it was new when I got it. Unbelieveable price!! Unbelieveable cleaning with this vacuum!!! I'm more then pleased with my "refurbished" Dyson.
Dyson 15 The Ball reconditioned:
I did a lot of reading up on this product before deciding to purchase one. I recieved the Ball quickly and opened the carton to find a new or like new product without a mark on it, no sign of use whatsoever. It looked strange and very plastic., not what I was used too. It assembled with ease in seconds, the parts fit together very well. I had to see if the reviews were true! Well....I must say they are, I could not believe the dust and crud it was collecting. POWER House of a Machine! ... A few recommendations though.:
The Dyson DC15 Vacuum is really quite amazing. Mine arrived in brand new condtion although the hard floor attachment had a little dust on the brushes like it had been used before. Still everything else looked brand new.
It snapped together into shape very fast and this machine was fairly easy to quickly understand how to use with the exception of one thing for me. Every time I put my foot on the white foot pedal initially I could not get the vacuum to unlock from it's base so I could tilt it lower to...more info

After trying to convince my husband that our current vacuum was not picking up correctly, and after taking it apart to ensure there were no blockages, I finally bought a Dyson DC15 Rollerball and had it sitting in our bedroom with the older vacuum and asked him to vacuum with the old one first and then go over with the Dyson!!! After this small experiment, he was totally amazed at how much dirt and dust we were sleeping with, even with an air purifier in the room!!!
