GREAT for gaming:
I went from a stock ball mouse (<200dpi@200hz) to the G5 (2000dpi@500hz) and my accuracy in FPS's improved dramatically. The mouse just feels natural in my hand, w/ no buttons you can accidentally push (unlike the G3). The scroll wheel feels very smooth and doesn't skip over weapons when switching. The dpi buttons are useful for lowering sensitivity for menus or sniping. I thought the weight cartridge was a gimmick, but increasing the weight by up to 50% actually makes a difference (I play at max... more info
G5 Gaming Mouse:
Well if you are looking at purchasing a G5 then you probably know all the Pros. The only Con that I can think of is that there is no Forward Button, only a Back. They fixed this in a later version of the mouse. Overall its an amazing mouse and is definitely worth the money.
