I'm a very picky person and I've had terrible luck finding a kitchen towel that won't shed.
I listened to the positive reviews and bought 4.
As soon as I took them out of the plastic I noticed that threads were dangling off of the towels. I put them through the washer (cold water) and dryer (medium heat) and still black fuzzies are falling off. I tried using them to dry off my kitchen counter and it left a black streak. I wouldn't recommend this product.
Calphalon Terry Kitchen Towel Black Licorice:
These kitchten dish towels are extra thick and should last for a long time. I am so glad I ordered them.

As expected, this is a very absorbent kitchen towel. Although the price might make one think twice before purchasing, at the end of the day its usability makes it a very good choice. In the year we have been using this product, it seems to withstand without problems the use of the "hot cycle" in the washer.
Great Kitchen Towel:
Not too thick and Not too thin. Very absorbent and soft. Bright rich color. Love the Tomato Red. Bigger than my former towels but not too big for a kitchen towel. I also got the light green one which is very pretty too. Washed them together for their first time and no color fading or running. Has a loop if you hook yours up. VERY nice towel.
