Hot:

As a footrest it gets quite hot. Would be nice to have various temperature settings, and an on-off switch that could easily be controlled by foot. Also, a built-in timer to shut off would be a good safety precaution.

Perfect!:

This product matched perfectly what my wife was looking for - a foot rest and a heating pad in one.

Too hot to put my feet on, then it melted the plastic:

I used this for about a month. It was too hot to put my feet on so I had to put two towels over it. Then it overheated and melted the plastic.
