Great Product:
I finally caved in and bought a knife protector for my Victorinox Fibrox 8-Inch Chef's Knife. I wish I had bought it sooner! The knife is kept securely in the case which snaps closed. It is dishwasher safe, which is great. I had originally thought of getting a magnetic knife rack but I live in a rented property so cannot drill holes in the walls so this is a good alternative. A must have for Victorinox knives:
I'm very pleased with these blade protectors. They fit well, look nice, and keep my knives safe. I have one for an 8 inch knife and a 10 inch knife.
Not practical, buy something else:
I bought the product last month, after two weeks of use one of the rubber pads sheared and now the knife is no longer held in place. It would be an, at least, four star review however if the company, Victorinox, would have included extra rubber grommets, offered to ship me out a couple extra, or even sold the rubber grommets separately, which they would not do without replacing the product.
Pesky Poltergeist Proof Protection:
Are you troubled by dark spirits invading your home and slinging your fine cutlery at you from across the kitchen? Well, we all know how annoying that can be. (Been there, got the T-Shirt). If you are having those kinds of problems, I highly recommend this product.
