Does a good Job!:
Works well, I only needed it for a short time until I adjusted my block. Try to get a good price, it seems a little expensive. If you don't have your knives in a block or otherwise protected get one of these.

It is a great Chef knife... very sharp, light and easy to handle. I am definitely buying another one!!! Oh, and it has the Victorinox brand behind it (you know, the makers of the Swiss Army Knives!).
Does the job for which it was made.:
If you want to secure a knife from accident or to transport it, this is what you need. Heavy, solid and doesn't unsnap "by accident."
