Great little MIC:
Met my expectations in all respects. The kitted extension cord is just right, I couldn't ask for more.
Slightly better than iPhone's internal microphone:
I wanted to use it with my iPhone to record lectures. It is directional and slightly better than the internal michrophone.

After an unfortunate tea accident my laptop microphone stopped working. I ordered this as the replacement. It works great! Excellent sound quality and I like that it's small. It can be plugged directly into the laptop or plugged into the included cord that clips on. Great product!
Some people....:
This microphone is excellent with the Olympus digital recorders, for which it is designed. What apparently some reviewers of this microphone do not understand is that it is not designed for a PC. The plug is mono and PC plugs are stereo. You cannot plug one into the other and expect it to work.
