I see no place to attach this to the trash can. No instructions came with it. It was a waste of money.
Not needed:
I purchased the trash can about one year ago, and STILL running with the batteries, and I havent used the power supply at all
A Must for the iTouchless Auto Trash Can:
I highly suggest you buy the A/C power adaptor for this trash can. I tried it with just the batteries and the functions are not as realiable, but with the A/C it works nearly flawlessly. And, what a waste of money replacing several size D batteries--could you be less greeen?
Check Your Can Model Number!:
Beware! This adapter does NOT work with the "iTouchless Stainless-Steel Hands-Free 13-Gallon Infrared Automatic Trash Can" even though they come up together as being "Frequently Bought Together" and "Related Products".
