A big disappointment!:
I bought this butterfly bungalow for my six-year-old grandson. The butterflies did hatch, but they were all dead the next day. He was really disappointed.
My son really enjoys sitting with his butterflies.:
After seeing a butterfly house, my son was very interested in learning more about butterflies. We gave him the bungalow for his birthday. He was excited to see his larvae eat and grow then bloom to butterflies. The bungalow was a snap to set up. It took about two minutes and is big enough for two youngsters to sit inside comfortably. Great product.

My daughter was a bit freaked when a butterfly or 2 got loose as the flap doesn't secure all the way around- but aside from that- it was really neat.
Poor quality of the tent, but caterpillars arrived quickly.:
Just as one reviewer already mentioned, the quality of the tent is very poor. One of the rods broke within a half hour when checking it out upon arrival. We didn't even have the caterpillars yet. We fixed it by cutting the broken part and making it an inch shorter (the rod bent, flattened, and the fiberglass split right next to the metal piece that joins parts of the frame). Same thing happened when our caterpillars turned into the chrysalises and were ready to go into the tent. The rod on the other side... more info
