Sony's newest rechargeable battery technology seeks to bridge the gap between regular alkaline batteries and NiMH rechargeable batteries. Cycle Energy rechargeable batteries do not require initial charging and have a very low self discharge rate. They maintain 85 percent of their charge after one year and can be recharged up to 1,000 times. This new technology offers consumers the convenience of a ready-to-use rechargeable battery that is longer lasting and environmentally friendly.

A great improve over the normal rechargeable batteries:
I was used to have the batteries that came with the charger, those batteries would last around one week charged after a full charge, this ones instead come with a full charge, and it doesn't go away after a month without using them. Amazing
Awesome rechargeables:
Some of the best rechargeable batteries that I own. Make sure you have a good charger to accompany them if you want the most bang for your buck.
best i've used:
I have a digital camera that runs on AA and I need to keep a lot on hand to change out often. With these batteries I am swapping batteries much less often as they seem to hold a charge much longer. Very satisfied.
Very good:
I use quite a few Eneloop low-self-discharge batteries: AAs in my Canon S5 IS and some toys, AAAs in Harmony 659 and Dish remotes. I really like how these rechargeables keep the charge for very long time. These Sony low-self-discharge batteries were on sale, and I decided to give them a try because of the price. In my opinion, they are just as good as Eneloops.
