Sony's newest rechargeable battery technology seeks to bridge the gap between regular alkaline batteries and NiMH rechargeable batteries. Cycle Energy rechargeable batteries do not require initial charging and have a very low self discharge rate. They maintain 85 percent of their charge after one year and can be recharged up to 1,000 times. This new technology offers consumers the convenience of a ready-to-use rechargeable battery that is longer lasting and environmentally friendly.

No complaints, as expected:
No issues so far. Note that these do not come charged from the factory - need charging before first use.
Works as claimed:
Charged the batteries in an Eveready charger and they have been working fine. Arrived very quickly in blister pack package. Seem to be working fine. I have not had to recharge yet but I also don't use them very hard.
Made in China:
Contrary to all the comments and reviews on the internet there is a big difference between CycleEnergy and Eneloop .
Cycle energy from Sony are Made in China and enloops what I own are Made in Japan

They may also work especially well in high-drain, low-duration devices such as LED flashlights or night-lights. Compared with the original version, it appears the user trades off some run-time for improved shelf-life. After less than a month of use, they've... more info
