in the process of finding out the return policy. does not scare cats away. the red light comes on indicating a cat is near and cats stroll right on by as though nothings there.

Does exactly what it's supposed to:
My indoor cats fight each other when they see a cat outside. I have several of these units placed around my lawn, and outdoor cats now skirt the perimeter of my yard only. A humane way to keep strays away.
