My Review of PUR's RF-9999-6 3 Stage Filter cartridges....:

I have had the filtration system that uses these filters for about a year now and I am averaging 5 months per filter! That is quite a testimony to these filters when you consider the lack of quality of the water in the Fort Worth area of Texas! They must have the worst water I have ever tasted in my life! When I drink the water that has been filtered by one of these cartridges, it is as good if not better than any I have tasted anywhere! THe price is great, especially in the six pack qauntity... Price is Awesome!:

I have owned a Pur faucet mounted filter for over 3 years and the only thing that happened was the front plastic part cracked and broke off, but it wasn't necessary anyway, just more for looks. I was buying filters - 2 for around $29 at the military commissary and thought it was very expensive. Look at this price that amazon offers!!!!! Can't beat it and my filters lasted for over a year. I keep about 6 small bottles of pur water in my fridge which also saves me from buying those small bottles of water.... more info
