works great but...:
This 1000HD monster is great, it works as it is supposed to do the job for the amount of dollars spent, but to do it again, I would definitely not buy monster. They are overpriced. There are other brandnames that have same quality as monster but at a little fraction of monster price! So shop around before spending.

What are we talking about here? A cable. It works fine, but I know I paid too much for it, just as you will always pay a premium for 'Monster' branded products.
For those that are throwing money away... throw some my direction.:
Following my review here is the HDMI spec currently which supports the full color depth..notice the bandwidth. Therefore... any cable that you buy that says HDMI 1.3 Category 2 can do *gasp* 10.2 Gbit/s (340MHz) bandwidth. Amazon here has plenty for less than 1 tenth of this and a quick search at my favorite place to buy cables would let me buy $30 for the price of one of these. I felt like i needed it:
I bought a monster 500 cable for $80 at the Navay Exchange when i purchased my Sony 46 Bravia TV. Some months later I searched on EBAY and I found out that i can get this cable for a lot cheaper then what i paid for the 500. I now have 3 of these in my house for my girlfriend's PS3 and 360 in the living room and my PS3 in the bedroom. I left the 500 hooked up to the cable box. The only thing i have compared this product to was the original av cables which suck due to the fuzzyness. I love the picture... more info
