Bruno Bolet was the proud owner of the "Whisperer," a crystal skull rumored to protect its holder from almost any cause of death - except murder. When Bruno passed away, his nephew Henry came to wrap up his affairs, but he couldn't find the skull among the clutter of the creepy Bolet manor. Not too scary, not too hard.:
Now, you can decide from my title whether this is the game for you, as like I said, this game isn't that scary or hard. There were maybe 3 scary scenes but nothing like "Curse of Blackmoor Manor" and there were maybe 3 puzzles that took me a long time to solve, but nothing like "Secret of the Scarlet Hand." Story-You and Bess are vacationing in New Orleans and while you're there, Ned has asked you to check up on a guy he knows. Not very well designed:
The game itself was okay, but it definitely didn't hold a candle to certain previous ND games. The bowling puzzle was the only maddening puzzle in this game. I did like this game overall; however, if this... more info
my favorite in the series:
This is my favorite Nancy Drew game. Well, this one and The Haunting of Castle Malloy. I've been a fan of the Nancy Drew games ever since I played my very first one which was Castle Malloy. I started with the last one and worked my way to #7. In Legend, the story-line, graphics, music and puzzles are fantastic. I even liked the accents of the voices in the game. It's recommended that you play this game in the dark to get the true ambiance, after all, you are searching for a crystal skull. But I had to take... more info
