For years I have had a down feather bed under my sheet for added comfort and a cozy, cloud like experience. The problem is that they are difficult to clean... and expensive. Just a soft, cushy mattress pad - get a less expensive one:
My husband's back hurts from our bed (we have already bought 2 new mattresses, including a sleep number bed and nothing helps) so thought I'd get this mattress pad to see if that would help at all. I had an Amazon gift card, so it was basically free :) The mattress pad is very soft, very cushy. Soft and Comfortable:
This pad fit perfectly. Doesn't shift and is large enough to fit even my deep pocket queen mattress. Very plush and comfortable. The only drawback is that I could feel the heavy stitching through my sheets. After a few more nights, we became used to it and it wasn't as noticeable. I would highly recommend this product.

I was so surprised at how beautiful and soft and comfy this mattress pad was when I opened the package. It is a much nicer product than I expected and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a extra nice mattress pad.
