Fine phone:
I was surprised at how quickly this phone arrived. It is more complex than I had expected. I am an old lady and complicated electronic stuff tends to throw me. However, I spent some time with it and now it works great for me. It does things that don't interest me but as a phone it is fine.
Functions good, ergonomics awkward:
Others have made mention of many of the features so I won't repeat the list. I have not used the answering function so I won't comment on that.
Pros: Clarity and range are good and the base station is a small footprint. Cons: This is one of the least elegant examples of industrial design I've seen in some long time. Phone has Issues:
My answering machine would only periodically pick up calls. I had machine on and rings set to 4 but phone would only ring twice and than it would disconnect the call without answering machine picking it up. I called tech support and they had me reset the rings and the answering machine. I had already done this and it would work for a short time and than it would go back to the two rings and than disconnecting. In all it was reset 4 times and each time the result was the same. Adorable phone:
This is the best phone I ever had and the price was very reasonable. It is easy to set up and offers a choice of rings, tones, messages etc. The speaker phone works better than any I have used. I hear well on my end and others don't hear an echo. I use a head set with this phone and clip it to my belt. Excellent sound quality. I've also called the Panasonic from another State to check my messages which offer several options with crisp clear sound.
