Good Camera for the price:
This is my 3rd Canon PowerShot camera. I used to have the A720 before this one. The A590 IS takes nice pictures, however the battery life is too short and when using the flash light, you have to wait few seconds before you can take another picture. It seems to be an issue for all powershot cameras. When using the video, my previous camera used to display the remaining time left. Terrible in the rain!:
I will make this simple and quick.
I love this camera for its photographic qualities, great videos with the extra memory, etc.

Unfortunately, my husband lost my A400 on a hunting trip. Surprisingly, the A590 pictures don't seem quite as vibrant. Overall, the pictures are great, especially compared to the Kodak cameras in the same price range. I definitely appreciate the zoom on the A590 compared to my old A400. I highly recommend this camera for... more info
