Wonderful head pad:
This heating pad is just what I was looking for. I use it on a cold wood floor. My only complaint is that the low setting is a bit woo warm. They should replace the high setting with the current low and add something like
a 30 watt low setting. The manual claims the high setting is for radiant heat. This is just silly, 90 watts is not going to produce enough radiant heat to do anything. I would also add some rubber feet so the unit doesn't slide on a bare floor. Note that I use the unit flat on the... more info
it IS toasty:
I am a very petite girl and don't have the best circulation to my toes. The menopausal women in my office keep it freezing cold. This footrest has been wonderful! Doesn't get too hot, comfy radiant heat. Pretty comfortable to sit with too, does help you think more about your posture when sitting. Definitely worth it! Using Foot-Warming Boots with Toasty Toes:
This heated footrest isn't the best there could be, but it's pretty much all there is. I turned it to high after I decided that the low setting, after being on for almost an hour,... more info
worked for one day:
It worked for ONE DAY! It did exactly what I had hoped it would do... kept my stockinged feet warm under the desk. On day two, the light came on but the footrest never warmed up. I tried turning it off and on, switching plug outlets.... nothing. Boxed it up and returned it.
