Great picture and features:
This set has so far met all of my expectations. My first LCD TV. Very happy with the picture and sound quality. In this size set, the 720p quality is excellent. Still haven't hooked the VCR, DVD, amp, etc. but there are plenty of connections to make it easy.
Be aware of the shipping:
Recently acquired the TC-37LZ85 through vendor Sixth Avenue Electronics (Amazon.com vendor). The TV was delivered by UPS in a battered, torn box with insulation peanuts falling out of box. The box also had been puctured in multiple places. The box looked as if it had been in a war and lost. There were no markings on the box to indicate which end was the top. I bought this TV on cyber Monday for $499.99, free shipping. I have 3 LCD TV's. For the money, it is the best TV I have. The picture is very crisp and there is no hesitation between channel changing. My next LCD TV will be a Panasonic.
