Great concept, so-so product:
We bought these based on the 20 mile range for a recent move. They were really helpful for chatting while on the road. The drawback is that I have no idea where the ideal conditions really work. We tried these out in FL (very flat) at just a few miles and they didn't work. Since the grocery store locally is just a couple of miles away and my wife has a pay as you go cell phone, we had hoped these would replace day to day cell phone use, but so far no such luck.
