Pretty Good.:
I was hoping to be blown away with this product as so many others seem to be, especially coming from a previous vacuum with a $70 price tag. It is certainly better overall than my prior vacuum but still has some shortcomings. THE GOOD
I primarily use it on hardwood and tile without the brush spinning. In this regard it works much better than my old vacuum which didn't have a brush shutoff. Dog hair now doesn't run away from me since there is no brush spinning and creating a fan of air.

Better than I ever imagined!:
I had my carpets professionally cleaned and bought this shortly after. I was amazed at the amount of dirt, hair, lint, and all kinds of stuff this baby picked up. I had to empty the container sometimes twice in a 12x20 area. The difference in air quality in my house is noticeable after having vacuumed the whole place with this great piece of equipment. Great product...Fantastic suction power...little noise.
The only one thing is that the handle is a bit awkward to use. But love the fact that it is integrated in the vacuum itself rather than on the side.
Very neat and I would buy it again in a heartbeat!
Superior Results for a Superior Machine!:
A lot of thought went into purchasing this "machine" many months ago. My husband and I purchased the Dyson in November 2008. I still can't get over how wonderful this product is. I'm always amazed at how well it picks up EVERYTHING and never loses suction! Then I sit and wonder.....is my house really that dirty??!!
I especially love pulling out the hose to vacuum my stairs. Lightweight, easy to clean.
I also have 3 cats and without this Dyson, I really don't think my carpets would be as clean.... more info
