Great paddle:
this is the great paddle design and fits comfortably in the hands. i am just going to mention a few cosmetic specific to the red paddle: it is a great shade of red I am very pleased with it. One thing i did not like though is the LED port indicator (the 1 2 3 4 thing) it glows through the plastic housing unlike the black version and doesn't look too great. overall it is a pretty cool paddle.
Ergonomics:
Overall, I would say this is a great controller. My only complaint is how it feels in your hands. It just isn't all that comfortable, not terrible, but not great either. I think the Xbox 360 and gamecube controllers feel much better in my hands. It would be nice if they could keep the controller basically the same, but make it a little more ergonomic.
White Controller:
I recently bought the white controller (at wal-mart because at the time the price was the same as here, sorry amazonians) and it looks absolutely sharp. I personally think it's the best looking PS3 controller out of all of them. It definitely stands out due to the dark buttons. Go get one!
Solid Red Plastic Looks Great:
I was so pleased to learn that Sony resolved their legal issue with "Dual Shock" rumble. Now this feels so much like the controller I have grown used to. It has a good weight to it now and the rumble and new six axis features work very well together. Actually I had a Wii and the six axis features of the Wiimote (like in MarioKart) seem to be not as precise or user friendly as Sony's are. As for the red color, I was worried it was painted, but no the plastic is through and through red, solid red. And... more info
