Just an Expensive Disposable Camera:
first, i have to say...i do love canon cameras. maybe a little too much...because after a year
or so you inevitably get the "lens error" warning that renders the camera absolutely useless.
i guess i have accepted this--being pleased with the year of photos that it delivered to me.
however, my last purchase put me over the edge. i got the "lens error" warning after less than a week.
i was able to remove the battery, recharge it, and the lens went back in...however the focusing didn't... more info
I like it:
I like everything about this camera except the zoom and the slow shutter. When it comes to taking pictures it's too close and doesn't zoom out too far either. The zoom works better while videoing but I rarely use that, I am more into taking pictures. When I am rushing like taking pictures from the moving car the shutter wouldn't allow me to take it fast unless I leave it on but the battery life is great, so I can leave it on to take fast snaps.
