I love my Kindle! This is exactly what I was looking for in an e-reader. It's not trying to be any kind of all in one device (although it does have some "experimental" additional features) - it is optimized for reading. If you are the type of person who is always in the middle of a book, or two, or three, and want to replace all the bulk with an electronic format, you'll be very happy. I didn't even think I wanted an e-reader until my husband dropped a hint that it might make a nice Christmas gift from him to me. Slowly the wheels began to spin that I just might enjoy having one. After seeing all the uproar about a well known competitors new e-reader release coming soon, I started researching to see if this might be something I would want.
