upconvertng DVD player to go with a new samsung lcd hdtv:
I borrow DVD'a from the local library and when they work they look really good. But the player rejects alot of them if they've been around a long time, so it's fussy. It's ok- I accept it. Relatively new DVD's really look terrific.
good dvd player:
lots of features, great picture, abit noisy if not enclosed in a cabinet. mine sits under a 13 in. lcd tv. so the motor on the player is a bit noisy.
If you want to play DVDs it doesn't get much better than this...:
Traditional Sony Product - first class electronics, great output, outstanding packaging - all shipped fast. really fast.
Slick Little Guy:
This upconverting DVD player works great and was a good upgrade to my first DVD player I purchased 5+years ago. DVD player technology has come a long way. I was surprised to see how compact and slick this device was. This player is a great compliment to my new Samsung LCD HDTV LN40A550. My entire DVD collection looks great.
