too perfumey!:
This has a very strong, perfumey, fruity smell to it that I didn't expect. It seems to work well and the smell, thankfully, doesn't stay strong for long on the dog. But my dog doesn't appreciate the strong smell as I'm using it and neither do I. I would really prefer this product in a more natural, subtle scent or none at all.
It does do the job of loosening hair and seems to shine up his coat.
Amazing product!:
I've spent so much on shed reducing products, I was skeptical about this one. But it gets cold in winter so wanted to reduce bath frequency. Based on other reviews, thought it worth a try. WOW! I have a beagle who sheds handfuls every week - literally! This product has GREATLY reduced the shedding!!! And it has greatly reduced his allergies/biting/licking as well! The smell is OK but I am sold!
Great alternative for us and for our dog:
Our lab doesn't like water (go figure!) so bathing her is an unpleasant experience for her and for us. She has high dander and sheds tons. This shampoo works very well for her and for us; cleaning her coat, keeping her dander down, deodorizing her coat, and in tandem with the furminator does a remarkable job in keeping her shedding to a minimum. We're all happy with this product.
Fragrance:
If you're wondering about the fragrance - I was - it's fruity. Not too strong. The instructions are to spray on, rub into coat, then brush.
