Did not work:
I have a golden retriever/boxer mix and I have to vacuum twice a day and brush her once a day to keep up with her shedding and I still come up short. I saw this product and the reviews and thought it would be great, but that is not the case. i have been using it for 3 weeks and nothing has changed. I was using Shed Stop first and it just about eliminated the problem completely. Now that I have switched to the FURminator I am back to brushing and vacuuming several times a day when I was only doing that once... more info
Good Product...:
Furminator is a good product. I have two greyhounds; one sheds a lot, the other doesn't. Both have softer, shinier coats since using Furminator, and my shedder's problems seem less so, although he is still shedding. I am hoping with further use the problem will dwindle away...
Furminator Products I've Used.:
I was so impressed with the Furminator and the Furminator Shampoo, that I purchased the Furminator Solution and the Furminator Supplements as well. We are on our 1st re-order of the supplements. We currently have two Golden Retrievers so the promise of any product that helps with shedding has my interest. Deshedding supplement:
My dogs love it! I used to have to mix canned dog food with their dry food to get them to eat. They lick the bowl, because of the fish oil, which is the main ingredient. Their shedding has been reduced significantly. I started using it in the summer when they shed the most, with very good results!
