Well, the good about this product is that the leather feels nice, and the inside suede is a nice surface to protect the Kindle. But, there are a several things about it that could be much better: the case is wider than it needs to be by an inch and the leather at the hinge gets quickly wrinkled from folding it back to read; it is very difficult to get it into and out of the case - the clips at the hinge are awkward; the closure strap lies in front of the Kindle as you read so you have to hold it out of the... more info

This leather jacket looks sharp. The leather is quite nice. I bought it as a gift and my friend's Kindle has never looked better.

I LOVE THIS NEW COVER FOR THE KINDLE! I DON'T CONSIDER IT A LUXURY BUT A NECESSITY. I WAS ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT COULD NEVER GET THE KINDLE TO STAY IN THE ORIGINAL CASE. IT WOULD SLIP OUT WHILE TRANSPORTING IN MY HANDBAG, AND ESPECIALLY WHILE TRYING TO READ AT NIGHT IN BED. ALL PROBLEMS SOLVED NOW WITH THE NEW COVER,AND IT DOES LOOK GREAT.
Doesn't fit Kindle 2:
Nice look but it has one major problem. When I insert my Kindle 2 the top edge protrudes above the edge of the jacket cover. Not only does this look odd but it doesn't fully protect the unit. I'm returning it.
