I looked in local stores for a product to put my gps in as I hate using the suction on the windscreen. This product was much cheaper than I could find locally. I started using it and was annoyed as it slid all over my dashboard but I realised I had not peeled off the paper on the base so it kept sliding. Once I peeled off the paper it sat firmly in one place on my dashboard. It seems to be working well and all in all it's good value.
Dash mount:
The bottom had some paper that was partially detached. I removed it only to find out that it was needed to keep the dash mount from sliding all over the place. I figured out another way to make it work by taping an anti-sliding surface to the bottom, and it is just fine now.
solid mount at a decent price:
This is a solid mount at a decent price. It's small enough for my Garmin Nuvi 200 to sit..... Others have had problems with the height of the weights. If you need a solid mount that's reasonably priced, this is well worth it.. regards, Netmechdb
Nice product & a good price:
I have been using this item for about a month now and it works really well. It has good weight to it and the tacky material used on the bottom makes sure that it does not slide around on the dash.
