I'd been having trouble with neighborhood cats using unplanted portions of my garden beds as litter boxes. I cleaned the areas up and applied shake away granules (hard to shake out because particles stick together & watch out because the top of the container doesn't fit well and can pop off). Within 2 days the cats were back. I cleaned up my beds & reapplied "Shake Away" granules before going to work, by noon there was a fresh pile. Does Not Work!:
Do not waste your money on this product. I purchased it a few months back and the cats were back in my planter beds the very afternoon after applying this stuff.
Shake Away Domestic Cat Repellent:
This product is OK but moist or wet conditions will remove its effectivity in deterring cats from doing their business.
It works great but...:
if I had known that I could have bought it at the local Ace Hardware store instead of paying Amazon for shipping, I would have gotten it locally. What I figured out from previous reviews is that "more is not better". I sprinkle very sparingly amounts about 2 a week on trees, bushes, fence corners - the typical places a coyote or fox would mark.
