Wine aerator:
The vinturi wine aerator works well. In an ad hoc, blind test with non-wine experts, the aerated wine with the vinturi was selected as tasting better. When we compared the vinturi system with wine decanted into a flask with large surface area and left to sand for 10 minutes, the results were mixed - e.g. our non-expert wine tasters could then not select the wine aerated with the vinturi system. So, it saves time and makes a cheap bottle of red wine taste a bit better immediately.
What a difference!:
My husband and I both took the taste test. First we poured wine into a glass and tasted, then we poured the wine through the Vinturi. It really does make a difference in the taste!
