By far the best baby monitor we have ever had!:

We have gone through quite a few baby monitors over the past few years -- most of which were awful (but cheap). The clarity on this unit is amazing, and the fact that there is absolutely no static is so nice. We really like the two way function so that we can talk to our daughters in their room too.
There is a slight lag when the noise first starts (baby crying), but it has not bothered us in the slightest!

Its expensive..... but the good news is that ITS WORTH IT!!!....
Let me preface that by saying there are few things in life that I cant stand more than electrical/RF noise. The other monitors we were using were terrible for feedback, noise, RF interference.... take your pick. This thing on the other hand is incredibly clear. Absolutely NO noise.... other than that of my son when hes grumpy.
Cant say enough about how much we love it so far. No problems at all..... but we sure would love th option... more info

Fantastic Monitor!:

I first tried a less expensive monitor from another vendor, but returned it because of the harsh static. The Avent Digital monitor is crystal clear and includes a couple of nice features that I really like... 1) a temperature readout on the handset, 2) music (that my baby really likes), and 3) the ability to talk to my baby through the monitor (or my wife if she is in the room with the base). Awesome:

This thing is GREAT. We use it with a toddler. The infant years we suffered through with a static ridden Sony 900 type model. The volume is plenty loud. There is ZERO interference--NONE. The temp thing is fine--a little silly unless you are worried the kids room will suddenly become 20 degrees colder than the rest of the house or if your child sleeps out in a tent outdoors--maybe you are nomads.
