Pretty Disappointing - cute but a little deceiving:
I was pretty happy with it at first. But I wanted to have you beware that although the progressing bar in the video seems to show that it scans pretty quickly. It's not true. It's not really a bar that shows progress. It just keep going down and up, but doesn't tell you how many % is done. You have to wait for it to scan and wait for it to convert. So that's kinda deceiving and annoying. Then what's even more annoying is that the scanned page keep showing two lines vertically down the page. I've tried... more info
Intelligent scanning and OCR simply doesn't work:
I entered 100 receipts and it scanned 5 correctly. It's completely incompatible with Quickbooks. The stated features are grossely overstated. As far as I am concerned, I wasted $300 thinking it was actually doing what it says it does. The recognition is so unreliable it's essentially useless and all ought to be entered by hand instead. We used it to scan a paper copy of a word processing document. It did pretty well, a little better than average. It translated the document well into digial format, except for the parts that had been written on (with which you would expect to have less than optimal results) and where it would just insert extra... more info
