Adult supervision needed:
Great idea and the box itself is well made and has plenty of room, if you don't have cymbals. The latch mechanism is kind of tricky and the steel frame needs to be beefed up especially around the pivot points. The underside mat is kind of lame, who wants to sit on the floor in front of somebody beating on a drum set?
AK Rock Box:
After I saw the Rock Band taking up the family room, I looked on Amazon for storage and found the AK Rock Box. We ordered on a Saturday and received by Wednesday. I love it! It is perfect for storing, looks nice and is a great extra seat to add to our family room. Worth every penny!
Family Loves It!!!:
One of the issues that kept me from buying Rockband was all the equipment that would sit out and clutter my den. The rock box is the perfect solution to this Rockband problem. I bought this for Christmas and have only been using for a few days but so far the entire family loves it. The drums pull out nice and they sit at a perfect height to sit at the couch and rock the drums. GREAT for my kids to store all of the game pieces out of site BUT easy to get to when they want to play and I love it as a wonderful and quality piece of furniture
