REAL Christmas Music!:
I must admit that I ordered this CD based solely on the cover photo. Yes, I know who Mary Chapin Carpenter is, and I love her voice. But there are a lot of Christmas albums out there. This is one you must get. From the very first notes of the first song, I was hooked. It was a Saturday in December, I was ironing my workshirts, and I played and re-played the album all afternoon. Have always enjoyed listening to her voice . . . and this album is quietude. Lovely.
Very relaxing:
I love this CD. The music is so relaxing. I could listen to this even when its not Christmas. I think it is good to listen to it if you are upset about something and than this music will calm you down. It does cost a lot however but I got it used on Amazon. It was worth the money. Have a happy New Year Amazon readers.

here's one for you. Mostly originals. The lyrics are strong and grab you and make you come back again and again. The images she draws echo in your mind and will reward the fan.
