I have bought the jawhorse 3 weeks ago and already pit it to work on installing doors paonting doors stripping doors and windows.Plannind a door. sanding windows..That tool is great love it it would a beautiful gift to somebody......The clamping force is insane...very easy to use.. already assemble... open the box setit up and ready to go....love that toollllllllllll
A safer way to cut up logs:
So far I've used my Jawhorse mainly for cutting up firewood (big and small) using this Log Jaw Accessory Attachment. (It was others' positive reviews that helped me decide to try the Jawhorse.) It is a great device...heavy duty and well made...worth the money. Replaces flimsy wooden saw horses and folds up nicely for transport to the woods in the front end loader of my tractor. Disappointed in the service:
I haven't used the log jaw accessory as of yet simply because one of the yellow plastic nuts didn't have a threaded insert. If I wanted to use it, I'd have to improvise with some kind of nut. I emailed the company regarding the problem and they said they could help, but haven't heard a thing from them.
Worth The Price:
This is a handy accessory. I don't have logs to clamp but there are many more uses besides logs.
