I thought I had ordered an electric blanket, so I was shocked when my son opened it on Christmas and it was just a regular blanket. I was prepared to send it back. Then everyone started to feel it. It is so soft. My son loved it and did not want me to send it back. I put it on his bed along with his bedspread, he was really warm that night. He usually requests several blankets to keep him warm. I'm glad I ordered it by mistake.

I gave this as a gift to a friend. Here is her response (quoted from a text message she sent me while using the blanket): "OMG! This blanket is BEYOND AMAZING! Words can't describe the heaven I'm feelin! Thank you so much!!!" Got one for myself, I love it, too. It DOES shed quite a bit, but it is so awesome, otherwise, that I still would give it 5 stars!
OH so soft!!!:
I bought this blanket in red thinking of it for a couch throw, it's BIG! Perfect for my queen size bed but I still love it on the couch. It's oh so soft and cozy, fluffy and luxurious, it reminds me of some throws I saw at Pottery Barn for some outrageous price, now I have one just as soft for a fraction of the price. There are some fuzzies that shed slightly but I think it's because it's new, there is also some slight static , but again I think it's because it is new. It's been over a month, since I got it. This blanket is amazing!!! ...'Till you read this, (I learnt it hard way!!!):
Pros: Very, very warm (warmer, than my $200 pure silk blanket!). Extremely comfy, soft, cozy and snuggly - no doubt about that! But, as always, there's another side of a medal!
Cons:
(a) highly static!!! (there's a remedy though - 30 min. in a dryer with several (3-5) fabric softner sheets. Works - guaranteed!)
(b) here comes my BIGGEST disappointmet ... you know... more info
