Painful:
The product is horrible, I followed the instructions just as it said, I tried using it on my dogs (small Chihuahua), he could not stand the grinding. I tried using it on my cat, it nearly ripped her whole nail off! I would not put my pets through this pain, so I decided to try it on myself, Ouch! It burned right through my nail and left my skin pink, to make matters worst it did not even smooth my nail, it left it all rough and sharp. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

I purchased the Pedi-Paws totally thinking my dog would have the smoothest, shortest possible nails... Sadly that's just not the case. He's a 92lb Boxer, with appropriately large paws and nails. I can't imagine this working on any dog with a nail of substance, after doing one paw, the grinding head nearly wore out. Probably ok for cats or tiny dogs.
Total Piece of Crap, Don't Waste Your Money:
This product is garbage. Maybe it works on tiny animals but my larger dog - basically, it just bounces off the nai no matter how carefully you hold it. I took time getting him used to it, he was very calm, it just doesn't DO anything. If you don't want to clip the nails yourself, spend the money to go to a groomer.

This is not so great for big dogs. Wouldn't be bad if courser grits of sandpaper were offered as well.
