I bought this after my first iphone broke when I dropped it. This thing is like a safe for your phone. I didn't have the problems with hearing an echo or the person on the other end hearing an echo like some of the other reviewers. I didn't use the holster. Unfortunately, this will not protect your iphone from being stolen....which is exactly what happened to me. What I didn't like about this is that I have aftermarket chargers and they wouldn't fit in the space provided for the charger. The one I got with... more info
Good thing it is rubberized:
Admittedly I am rough on stuff, but I kept knocking the phone out of the holster. I have had a iPhone for 2 years and have only really dropped it two or three times until I bought this case. I used the case for 2 weeks and it was knocked out of the holster 6-7 times. I love the phone cover, it looks and feels good, the holster just needs a better retention mechanism.

I recently invested in my iPhone (finally!) and originally just had the little silicon case that covered the edges and backside. I'm a huge klutz and am always dropping stuff out of my hands, so I've been fearing dropping my brand new iPhone and shattering it. This Otter Box case has completely resolved my fears! The product was delivered in original packaging and has kept my phone secure and clean. It's very sturdy but does get dirty often so I'm constantly cleaning the case. That's a small price to pay for a safe iPhone.
