Inaccurate and worthless.:
Followed directions to set the scale up out of the box. The scale weighed me a different weight with a 23 pound variance below/above my actual weight. I took the batteries out and tried new ones... no change. This scale is worthless and going right back to Target. DO NOT BUY!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! I had the same problem as many of the others posted here. Stopped working after only 1 month. I tried all the instructions they gave me to reset it. I reset it 20 times and nothing. We have another Weight Watchers scale that works without problem. This is the second Taylor scale that has stopped working. I will never buy another Taylor product again.
Err1 - Defective after 1 month:
I bought the Taylor 5599 scale at local Target retail. It seemed like a decent scale for the 1st month, until it suddenly started displaying Err1 whenever I stepped on it. My previous Counselor brand scale worked perfectly for 20 years. The Taylor 5599 manual says Err1 indicates over 440lbs is on the scale. I can assure you I weigh far less than 1/2 that.
