Any luggage over 50 pounds on US Airlines is subject to a charge .Simply clip this scale to the handle of a suitcase or bag-lift the bag with the handle shaped scale until it beeps-you have the weight of your bag appear in the large LCD on the scale-as simple as that. Push a button and the scale resets to zero for the next bag. The scale is compact and light weight so you can take it along for the return journey-I swear that travel dirt gets heavier every year.

Works great and pretty accurate:
Very convenient and useful for travelers. I found the weight to be pretty accurate but, the results may be +/- 0.4 - 0.6 pounds every time you try. This might be due to the way the luggage is handled when weighing. I found this problem especially when weighing heavy bags. Lighter bags that I could hold consistently in same position resulted in same weights in multiple tries. But, I think even with the small variance while weighing it serves the purpose. Accurate and easy to use:
This is easy to use. We had another one that hung on the doorknob that we just couldn't get to work and was not accurate. This one is extremely simple and you only have to lift the bag a few inches off the ground. This is great for those of us with very weak arms. This item is very simple to use and very accurate. Weighted all my suit cases before leaving and at the Airport scales each one weighted in at the whole pound value. Am very pleased with this item and recommend it highly. Amazons delivery time was excellent as always.

This is a very accurate, lightweight, and easy-to-use scale at an affordable price.
